Post Swift's CSL Journal

I've been lurking here for a while but just thought I'd start a journal to show where my car stands at the moment and how its going to transform slightly as I plan to continue making a few modifications here and there
I bought the car from someone on these forums back in 2009 and have been enjoying it ever since.
I am a huge fan of carbon fiber and when I bought the car it already had a few carbon pieces extra which always made me want to add more! I do also love the black stealth look and that will begin to show on the car!

***How she sits now***

Aftermarket Components:

Exterior:
Carbon Wethje Hood (original BMW carbon manufacturing company)
Carbon side grills
Carbon bonnet vent
Carbon headlight trims
Fiberglass M3-R Fenders
Umnitza Orion V4 LED angel eyes
Lamin-X Smoked rear lights
Black kidney grills
Black CSL side grill badges
Smoked DEPO corner Lights w/chrome bulbs
Smoked side lights
LED license plate lights
CREE LED reverse lights
35% Tint by Tom @ Autoworx

Powertrain:
Supersprint lightweight racing exhaust

Suspension, Wheels & Brakes:
BBS CH Motorsport matte black with silver rim protector [19x8.5, 19x10]
AP 355mm 6 Pot Fronts with PF Disks, RS14 Pads
K-Sport 320mm 6 Pot Rear with Carbotech XP8 Pads
Turner Limiting Kit (RTAB)

Interior:
Turner Motorsport aluminium black anodised pedal set
Carbon 3 piece dashboard trim
Carbon SMG gear shift surround
Carbon steering wheel trim 2 piece
Carbon extended length SMG steering wheel paddles
Carbon inner mirror covers
Carbon & black BMW steering wheel badge
Full Kenwood Stereo with Subwoofer, Amps and Ipod
M Power floor mats

Car when I bought it with black kidney grills

Interior

The mods will be minimal as the car is already so good out of the box, but I always wanted to fix a few things such as a the brakes and change the exhaust for visual and acoustical impact!

Supersprint lightweight race, removed loads of weight too!

Changed to AP 6pot BBK Setup FR and K Sport 6pot RR with Pagid pads

Few trackdays here and there

At this point the car is near perfect for my use but I am a mod junkie so couldn't resist buying a few more parts this year. Stay tuned...

Thanks guys! The brakes did make a massive difference!! the first time I touched the pedal after the install my head nearly hit the steering wheel haha

So unfortunately after 3 careful years of ownership and driving in central london some has managed to scratch my front bumper (probably a motorbike foot peg). I guess my plans of doing a front end re-spray and clear wrap will have to be accelerated. I just can't stand seeing marks on my car. Anyone else feel the same?

The scrape is a few mm deep hopefully the repairs wont be too difficult.

Absolutely agree with your take on damage. Gravel rash on the nose is inevitable(unless you have armourfend) but panel damage has to be repaired immediately...my OCD doesn't permit any other option.

Seems like we are on the same page cslsuperfan! I've asked around for quotes and waiting to hear back.

In the meantime on of my parts arrived, (always diskliked the stock one with the holes)

Carbon Fibre Bonnet Vent
