Default Thanks from PistonHeads

Hi all,

Just wanted to say a massive thanks from me and on behalf of PistonHeads for letting us tag onto such a brilliant trip.

Thanks in particular to shimmy and Roland for all the effort in organising the event and to everyone I met out in Munich/Salzburg. It's nice to see a bunch of real enthusiasts enjoying their motors.

As and when I get pictures of the trip sorted, I'll post them up if anyone is interested.

It was a cracking few days.

All the best,

Sean

Is there going to be some writeup on PH? Guess I should have made sure you got a pic of my car with the smiley on the boot!

Good to meet you Sean - jealous as hell ...if you need a 'wingman' give me a call ;-)

Hi Sean

The article is nice however I see only people from UK mentioned and the whole event is presented as a UK trip to Munich.
Probably you didn't see that there were CSLs from all over Europe in the meeting.
There were members from France, Denmark, Bulgaria, Holland, Switzerland.
Therefore I don't understand why only Brits and the "UK CSL register" is mentioned.
Last time I checked the CSL register is international.
We have members from Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, New Zealand etc
I would have expected you would like to show the diversity.
Judging from Michelin though, you might have been interested only about the UK audience...

I read the article which in itself was extremely good but the reference to the UK immediately jumped off the page.
The Register is as 'alexK' has said an international resource for owners/enthusiasts and any like minded individuals who have a passion for this contemporary classic.
It is a UK based resource, but it's a Global institution, to refer to it as 'UK' belies this fact.

In addition to Alex's list there are members in Ireland, Guernsey, which aren't UK.Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy Czech Republic, United States, Malaysia, etc.
They may not have all been represented in person on the Trip, but they were there in spirit, and equally worthy of a mention.
