Default Outdoor Car Cover

What is everybody using for an outdoor cover? My car is on the driveway at the moment.

Suggestions? Ideally something that is breathable with straps that run underneath.

Thinking of something from http://www.cover-zone.com/...

I'd take a look at www.carcoon.co.uk . They make outdoors covers that inflate to protect the car from moisture in addition to the general elements.

When mine is in storage it goes into an indoor version at the car storage place I use. I thought it was a slightly over-the-top option until the car storage owner said to give it a free try over the winter.

I got the car out this year and it didn't have a single bit of flash rust or even dust on the car. The power supply that keeps the fans going to push through filtered air also keeps the battery charged too.

Best,

Jonathan

The carcoon looks good but regular outdoor covers will wreck your car. Wind will move the cover and scratch the paint despite what the car cover manufacturer will tell you. You'd be better off with no cover I reckon

My car has an indoor fitted cover, then a thick blanket the tarpolin sheet with Carband round, then has a breathable cover from Hamilton classics with straps. the car stays dry and clean and has lived outside for the past two years

Absolutely 100% correct. Never run a cover outside, I'd go for a Carcoon if you value the car.

The car normally lives in a dry garage, this is for when the car is on the driveway. I'm thinking of something a little bit more straightforward if I'm honest!
