Default Subframe repair little gripes.

My CSL has the subframe repair completed around a month ago. It involved abit of hassle but can't complain as it was FOC.

Anyway I've been under the rear tonight to investigate as 'tinny vibration' when reversing onto my drive. Luckily it seems to be a loose new bolt holding the muck shield above the exhaust. I fixed this myself. Whilst underneath I spotted that there was a large grey slug bridging the chassis, NS rear subframe mount and bush. I'm guessing as its very tough this is structural foam from the repair ??? I know the car was rebuilt then injected after.
Also I've noticed the exhaust rear back box around the clamp is heavily leaking :-(

I can scrape the foam myself but the exhaust will need a better clamp or be welded. Have u read some thing about a Peugeot clamp sorting this? Currently it has 2 different very old clamps.

I've also had to adjust the handbrake as BMW left it high as a kite !

i had the same issue with my oem back box. cheap fix if you have access to under the car. Cut off the the existing fixed clamps(if they're beyond repair) peugeot exhaust clamps X 2 £6 the pair. job done.

Try a search under Peugoet or exhaust clamp.
