Whimper,
Where / how did you mount your camera on the first part of the video?

I tried all three, I was esp interested in M track mode as not used it before. As expected with TC on, it kills the power in every corner. With M track it's better, but still couldn't get the power down early enough. Spent most time in M track. If you are a decent driver, Off is the only fast lap option. But as I'm learning the car I tended not to push it too far. I need more experience. Though as Shimmy says, Bedford is a great place to gain it. The brakes were another area of interest. I have OEM and I was expecting them to be worse to be honest. I was often outbraking cars I didn't really expect to. I tended to do one warm up lap, two at pace, and then a warm down. Bedford GT is massive though, so that's a lot of track. And quite hard to drive at a cruise…. |

First part was a full size DSLR mounted on a bracket attached using two plates that screw to the rear seat headrest posts. Just guessed on focus etc Second part was a Go Pro 3 (out of it's housing) stuck to dash with velcro. Not ideal, but didn't have too much time and they don't like suction attachments. |

I tend to short shift as you say for the noise meter on the left. The others are equally touchy but if you avoid being close to noisey car you should be ok in a CsL.

Even M track is rubbish IMO its far too intrusive and you can get clutch slur during up changes which i noticed on a couple of times on your vid albeit only slightly. S6 all the way eliminates all that bollox. BBK is a must for me as i am heavy on brakes. I managed to fook my std ones at the EVO triangle soon after i got the car. So i put some AP’s on and then warped them at Bedford...doh I run now AP’s on the front with PF discs and std rears with RS29 pads all-round and its lovely.

i tried RS29’s to clean them up but that didn’t work, nor did emery cloth by hand. In the end i got them skimmed which totally fucked em and the pads I think we had this conversation a few years ago at Bedford

So long as the axles have decent matched tyres that are in good nick then you should have no problem.
