I have to clean the mold now and then try and make one the cost will depend on the amount of carbon and time involved

Looking good Mark!!! That mould ain't half bad. Bit of wet and dry from 1200 to 2000 should tidy it up real nice!! Some of the edges look a little suspect, but overall not bad. I think you'd pull about 4 or 5 copies from this before a repair to the mould.

The rough edges are above the seat mould but yes they will be tided up with gel coat Tom

And yes it will be rubbed down with wet and dry

I was thinking 3 layers of 200g carbon should be strong enough also if it need more i can add it inside the part

They are easy to install just be careful with the radio and the one above the glove box where they meet as they are a close fit

Back to the drawing board it did not want to come out the mould the recess is the tough part to do as it wants to lock its self to the mould its time to try something else

Use compressed air to blow in between the mould and item to separate - if you've waxed the part properly and put enough PVC release agent it should just come apart.

It's usually stuck due to surface tension and friction - compressed air will sort that out.

You should still work your magic and see if you can repair that broken one Mark
