Hi, thanks for the welcome everyone
Csl rather than a GT3 .... I love gt3's having spent time on road and track in an immaculate club sport , but I've done the water cooled 911 thing and my heart lies with the aircooled cars. My turbo was an immaculate low mileage car but even then still cost me a bit over 12 months ownership and I'm not convinced the build quality is there with the 996/997 cars. To be honest, of all the 911's I've driven, the one that gives me the biggest grin is my 1973 car which is why I still have it after more than 10 years. Over riding thing is, I have 2 kids so i need rear seats and I'm after a special car which will be used mainly on the road and for euro touring ... It's the csl that's pulling on my heart strings |

I've started the ball rolling and contact a couple of dealers. Just need to get my head around what I should be paying for a nice car with good maintainence history. Does seem to be a large spread on prices.

Anyway, get the right CSL, even if it costs a few extra quid over the cheaper ones out there, and you won't regret it. Whilst many who don't really know them can be critical of certain areas on paper, spend some time with them and they really get under your skin. There are few, if any, cars at the current price-point that excite as much IMO. Just from going to the garage to look at it, or when you fire it up, it does it for me anyway. And then there's the noise... |

Actively looking at the moment for the right car.
Definately decided I want an SG one which is on or eligible for BMW waranty , also ideally would like Xenons. Prefer 40K mile area, but to be honest, im flexible on mileage , spec etc for a car in the right condition I have a couple on the radar, but if anyone knows of any coming up for sale please let me know |
