If you want a really hard wearing wax for winter (and summer), try Collonite. It's really tough stuff and lasts forever.

The tub I have has lasted 3 cars over 3 years!

How often do you wax your cars though

A few pointers on your questions
1) Sytner Sheffield were doing an offer on alloy refurbs, try speaking to Jim in bodyshop 01142 755 077
2) Not really, the plastic wears, but try some swissvax or zymol plastic cleaner to try & improve. The centre console between rear seats is ridiculous cost.
3) Wash & wax alone will not help. You need full detail to incl. wash, clay bar, machine compound /polish & then wax. A2D charge circa £250 and it will look great :-)

Thanks for the info. It's a shame that marks on plastic are not easily sorted, as it does seem to spoil quite a few of the CSLs I have seen.

I've now agreed a deal on a CSL that is in pretty good condition - no marks on the wheels and the paint is in pretty good nick. Will have a think when I get hold of it whether to get the paint properly worked over.
