Tyres again
So im looking for a set of tyres for the CSL to replace its front N1 Porsche Michelins and its rear Goodyear F1's as i'd much rather have a full set, Whats sensible money to get a set of cups for ? Im not likley going to be doing track days but want some really good boots for it, other options are Sport 2's or some Pilot SuperSports.
If there is little difference in cost then I guess cups are best? I you guys have used a lot more variations than me so will give me an honest opinion. Equinox

If your not doing any trackdays I would personally go for the Michelin pilot supersports. You won't really want to be tip toeing around in all this standing water when you can get one of the best road tyres going and if you do the odd trackday they are more than up to the job IMHO of course. And they are quite a bit cheaper than cups.

Cups are crap in the wet and not the best for every day use.
My vote is Cheap tyre Falken 452 (great i have them on my csl ) Expensive tyre Pilot SuperSports OR PS2. |

Come on Shimmy your a man of the world that forces your views on everyone, ill do a euro trip perhaps once a year, the car will be garaged and not used every day, high and dry days to be honest, my initial thought was wanting a CSL to be as good as it can and should be. As I said my tyres arnt due to be replaced but odd tyres front to rear boils my piss, give me your view.....
