I'm inundated with work for Rockingham on 17th March. Unlikely to get out to play before that. Family dropping like ninepins too! - another funeral next week, another day closed, another day behind. Grr.

The stat [55*c] should work great in track conditions imho...
Question is, how would the engine perform in normal [and with that I mean urban/city driving] conditions? Afaik, the S54 needs to have its temp [oil temp?] at a certain level for best engine performance. Thus, if having this stat installed and if you were to drive in the city you'd def have a lower engine temp thus decreasing engine performance. Unless: 1. Drive like a nutter 2. Rev the engine higher 3. Have a bypass switch for normal to track stat
