Default M3 CSL Tyres

I own a 15,000 Mile BMW M3 CSL I am looking for some help on tyres.
It currently runs Cups but I am not using the car on any
track days and would like to drive it in the winter sometimes.
What are the best tyre options please.

Many Thanks

Nigel

For your needs, Michelin Pilot Super Sport would be the only tyre I would run - it's a newer version of the PS2 and provides unrivalled levels of grip on the roads...

On track though... you can't beat a CUP tyre, although these have a wear rate of 80 as opposed to the 300 that is on the PSS so won't last anywhere near as long. So I wouldn't bin your CUP's - keep those for spare just in case you want to do a track day in the future - although if they are the original CUP's that came with the car they are probably good for nothing as you should replace them after 3 years really...

Hope that helps

Tyre question answered, but where did you find a 15000 mile example? Don't keep it as a garage queen or you will miss out on what the car is all about, diving & having a big grin.

I am enjoying it I bought a 14,000 miler from Munich Legends 5 months ago and it has now done 15,000 so I am using it for trips at the weekend to the golf club etc and you are right it is an amzing car to drive and it does make you grin when you open the throttle to that amazing sound !! .
