I test drove one before i got the 911 Turbo.

The only thing what really impressed me was the grunt and the gearbox.

I didn't like the way it eats brakes on track on how you have to watch the transmission temps on track!!!

I think its a few spirited laps then in for a cool down which sucks after owning a CSL where you can spend pretty much aslong as you want on track.

As a fast road car i guess they are great.

Try a 996 Turbo if your thinking about a change..... I'm over the moon with mine.

I had a seat in one, didnt even start it. The interior was enough to make up my mind.

All the ones I have seen and spoken to on track days have over heating gearbox issue's, so they ave spent a lot of time cooling down

Driven one twice at 2 Silverstone experience days. Monster performance but they like a drink ! They were re-gassing them very very regularly. Made Oli Reed look reserved !

Pax in Lawsys at Donny also. Look ace in red....really suits them IMO.

I think parts are pretty expensive (eg if you need to replace bumper) but will let the more informed comment.

An accomplished, devastatingly quick licence loser
