Default DSC light

Driving along, DSC light comes on and yellow hand brake light. Get the extra bar on SMG indicator so assuming its turned off. Pushing DSC button doesnt do anything. Stop car, leave for 2 mins, restart and all seems good again (lights off).

Moody biatch this car sometimes !

Any similar experiences folks ?

Mine has done this 3 times now since it's recent inspection 1. Hooked up my diagnostic tool and found fault 5E20 = Pressure sensor 1, on the brake servo beneath the brake fluid expansion tank. Google it, it's well publicised There are two DSC sensors there, part number: 34521164458 ) Since it's intermittent fault, it may be a dry/weak connection so worth a wiggle.

had the same thing just recently, thought it was a wheel speed sensor so bought one & took it to Simpsons to be fitted & it was the traction control pump sensor.. about £80 from BMW

Wont effect the car just no Traction control...happy days

Same has been happening on mine, Shane hooked it up his diagnostic pc - same fault. I'm going to try some wd on the contacts see if that solves it...
