Default Knocking-sound (Right/Rear)

Hi all,

My CSL produces a knocking sound at the backside on the right. It occurs whenever I take a medium to hard lefthand turn, or drive through potholes with the right rear wheel.

It might be worth to note that my car has PSS10 fitted, maybe it's a faulty Bilstein-damper?

Hi
The standard rear springs brake also have you checked the pads as this can do that noise if you have a big brake kit.

The bottom suspension bar did this on my csl and was replaced under warranty
Its the one from the bottom of the hub to the Diff mount and is a round alloy bar.

Hope this helps

Hi Mark, thanks for the input.

I have AP-racing, but I doubt the pads can produce such a heavy knock? Springs are part of the PSS10-kit, so I assume they should be less prone to breaking? I'll have it checked together with the suspension bar.

Thanks!

Spoke to my technician, those have indeed been changed, according to him it should indeed be the rear bottom bush.

I'll have it changed right away.

Just to make sure they change the correct part, could anyone give a partnĀ° of the suspect bush?

Thanks
