Default Hi - New to CSL

Hi All

I am realitively new to CSL ownership (about 3 months) but loving every minute of it

I used to own an Impreza which was running a little less BHP than the CSL but was a car i loved for 3 years, so stepping into a rear wheel drive non turbo was a bit of a shock for me

Not only does it kick out (which i excpected) in the damper conditions but its soooooo much faster (top end) than the scoob, and tbh i think rivals the sound of one too, especially at the 4,500 rpm with sports on

Hoping to do some trackdays in the new year too

Mark

Hey CSL_MBA,
Welcome. I'm sure you'll love owenership. It's a totally different experience to the subaru.
Interesting that you went for a sapphire black one, nice a discreet if a CSL can be discreet.
Very special car, after a while you'll wonder how on earth you'll replace it if the time comes.

Enjoy!

Hi mate
Welcome, i too am new to the CSL, only had it for about 3 days, really really like it, get even more impressed with it each time i drive it., i have had a few scares though in these damp conditions, new underwear needed...... as i too was used to 4 wheel drive, this was in a skyline R34, have to say though, this is a much more exciting car, when that noise comes in and the paddle shifts it does feel like your in a racing car.
Enjoy it mate

James

Welcome!

CSL ownership only gets better as you learn the car and what it can do.

Only had it for 3 days and you're already getting it sideways! Love it.
It took me months to turn the DSC off and it stepped out so quickly.
I thought that the car looks better on the road than up a lamp-post / on its roof so DSC stays on!
