Clunking Rear Nitrons...
Wondering if anyone else has had this problem...
Fitted a set of Nitron NTR Sport Coilovers to my car, the ones which retain the seperate spring / shock rather than a full coilover. So, been driving the car about a week since fitting them and getting it out for the summer. At full soft the car rides really well, no noises or issues. But as soon as I start to stiffen up the rear shocks they start clunking over bumps which is not good. I've had them back off to check that they are done up correctly, but still getting the problem. Any ideas? |

Try driving it hard for a while and see if it disappears ?
My Intrax did the same and it was air in the rear dampers and did not affect performance and went away on track when really warned up.

I remember Nitron telling me that knocking appeared on the rear if running Nitron top mounts or equivalent.
I run OEM top mounts with mine and are silent on hard. |
