Track day - what tyres?
Hi guys, just picked up my CSL and am thinking of doing a trackday in it.
It currently has nearly new PS2's, what are these like on track? I am not after out and out grip, but I do not want to destroy a grand worth of tyres! Has anyone been round snett on PS2's? If so, what were your thoughts? Olly |

The one thing i will say is make sure your car's geo is checked and set up properly and do not run a road based setup as you will wear the outer edges of the tyres when you push on a little more. If running standard suspension you should consider fitting Turner adjustable camber plates and spacing the front wheels by 10/12 or 15mm.
