Hesitation
The car is running great..
Just occasionally , if I short shift the car I get a pause (maybe a second) almost like its changing cam or something.. But wondered if it was the throttle sensor since on full chat the car is great. Any ideas ? |

I get a pause, but usually when come to a stop between 2nd and 1st then pulling of again......this is when the change up gear number flashes for a second.
If the flap isn't working will you not get that surge when you press the start button though? |

I should have been clearer in my initial post.
The 'hiccup' that I get is when I short shift at 3-3.5k revs. ie 2nd-3rd or 3rd-4th. I suspect 'they all do that' as its on the borderline of the torque curve for the next gear. So - I suppose its not hesitation as such, more a computer pause deciding how to fuel the car in an odd situation ? |

If it's stuck then you can tell... from feel (performance does suffer) and from lack of noise. Remember 'the flap' is only related to the SPORT button in relation to the point in the rev range at which it opens (3,500 ON or 6,000ish OFF)
To test the flap it's best to stick SPORT ON and check it when idle as you say (with a mate) |
