Pics from my latest Ring trip

Hi all,

Here's a few pics from my latest Ring visit. Had a great weekend and met some top blokes from the Ford RS Focus owners club who had brought 14 cars over - all of them staying at the 'Ringhaus' where we were. I took 8 of them out in my CSL and they all loved it - i've even converted a few due to CSL induction roar alone!

I also had a ride in a Focus driven by a madman which was 'interesting'...! :eek:

The BMW Driver Training School also pitched up with over £1 million worth of V8 E92 M3 - 22 in total! There were also a few Nissan GT-Rs testing there, an RCN race, a few CSLs, as well as the usual stuff and Sabine in the M5 'Ring Taxi'.

I did have one strange occurence of having the DSC/Gearbox/Tyre Press/Cautions illuminate on driving through Northern France and took the sensible approach of getting it checked at a very helpful BMW dealership in Dunkirk. The head mechanic diagnosed and reset the glitch free of charge, putting it down to the car having been on the ferry...! I bunged him 20 Euros for a couple of beers

Oh, and the Focus lads said to give 'Kev H' some stick for selling out on them and getting a CSL saying he'll never track it but endlessly polish it instead, lol!

the orange car is a french lad, but not a Csl, copy well done, but still a fast car, 506hp with a compressor under the boot....

I can't stand anymore, I need to go back a weekend there this year...

I saw the orange one recently at DM performance shop near Paris...an incredible CSL full race setting with a huge compressor...
A killing détails...in the front, you can see behind rims some carbon ceramic brake...ouch!
