Just had M.O.T
Hi guys
just thought i'd let you know how i got on, despite only having the csl for a few months it was already due for an m.o.t. so i took it to sytners at leicester, as that is my local garage and is also where i bought it. so it was booked in at 10:15, they didnt start the m.o.t until 10:45, they finished the m.o.t at around 11:10 and the csl sat there in the garage for a further 50 minutes, then a lady comes over to tell me that everything is ok apart from my plates( i forgot to change them), would i like to buy some so they can change them, so i said yes or else it wouldnt pass, so she went off, and then i quickly went over to the desk to ask how they were going to fit the plates, as i didnt want my front bumper drilling, she looked at me suprised, as i told them to just stick them on, im sure if i hadnt of said anything they would of drilled the bumper and to make things worse instead of using a bit of double sided tape, they covered the whole plates in it . anyway that my moan over with lol, so after 2 hours and 84 quid lighter it has passed. How does everyone else get on? Joe

My car recently had its second MOT at Ocean BMW in Plymouth which it passed with no problems - £55 (included tea and biscuits...!)

Mine also needed an MOT about 2 months after I bought it. It almost failed on emissions until the guy asked me to give a real good thrash after which it passed just fine. Phew!

CSLJOE, if you bought the car from a dealer a few months ago shouldn't it have been supplied with a new 12 month MOT at the time of purchase? Thought all AUC cars had that, plus rectification of any MOT failure 12 months after?
