Mmmmm, it's gonna be good. Anyone catch the "driven" article by Chris Harris in Evo last month? He reckons it's great bit of kit.

More details now officially released:
http://www.skiddmark.com/2010/12/09/...pe/#more-17907 and on PH etc http://www.pistonheads.com/news/defa...?storyId=22895 Reckon would look quite good in white in a chunky/ugly way, but it really doesn't do a lot for me... Sounds like engine hasn't been tweaked much over the same lump in other BM's, peak power of 335bhp at 5900rpm, how dull, buy the 123d! And how tacky is the badge on the engine cover... (and reckon it fails the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 ) Last edited by danp; 10-12-2010 at 12:28 PM. |

Quote:
" the 1 Series M Coupe weighs 1495kg !!! unladen ( D'oh !!! ) which is exactly the same as the E46 M3. (Nice & Heavy then ) It has a power/weight of 227hp/tonne or 4.4 kg/bhp, which is pretty well the same numbers quoted for the E46 M3 back in 2002 " ... does that make the 1 Series M Time Travell machine ? So who's going to the first to mention the single piston callipers on this beast IMHO this is squarely aimed @ the NEW bread of Estate Agents who don't know any better Indeed... unless the M stands for Marketing Shocking !!! none the less and it's upside down too D'oh

It is a prototype
I think it looks nice, and will be a giggle and would own one, not instead of a CSL as it's not a CSL replacement, could not really give a fook if a badge is upside down, back to front, not there, or pink Nice to see the little 1 get beefed up, its a lovely looking car the coupe Especially in white, good daily motor with a bit of grunt, toys and comfort !
