Llandow track day
Hi, this may be short notice and a bit of a long way for most but will post anyway.
There is a track day the Llandow track just outside Cardiff on Sunday 10th August that I may be going to and wondered if any other CSL owners would be interested. It's a Lotus track day run by my old friends in Club Lotus. They need 40 cars and currently have around 20ish so are going to open it up to friends with non Lotus cars. It's all day with an open pit lane although they will manage the amount of cars on track at one time. Cost is £70 so pretty good value. You could also get a passenger ride in the current Lotus range as the Factory Lotus road show will be there as well along with the Cardiff Lotus dealer. Let me know if you are interested as I really need to contact them by end of play Friday so I can see if they will let us join in. Another CSL owner that lives by me may come also so that would be two so far. |

Bit too far for me in august i am afraid, but i did Llandow in my CSL in May and had a good time.
It is quite a small circuit and used by karts as well i believe but there are a couple of really good corners where bravery is the name of the game. good luck and enjoy |

Yes is a short circuit..there is a kart circuit next to it but don't think they use the main circuit. Glad that the circuit is OK for a CSL as I always imagined it was more suited to Elise etc...Looks like it may be three so far.

you could well be right
only down side was the quality of the tarmac otherwise i had a great sunny day there. Watch out for the Old Bill afterwards. Thay ambush 3 of our cars, all only for numberplate issues but they like to flex their muscles, as only used to brawling hoodies, lifting people down from nooses, or investigating sheep crime! (only joking if any of you live there) |
