Oulton park pics 14th July 2010 and my cars new suit!!
Few pics of today at Oulton Park with the new wrap, we are currently working on a design to incorporate the rear chequered with logo up rear arch to the duck tail. A design in progress. But happy so far with results.
Good day today, dry in the morning then some mr2 dropped its gearbox oil on track, I hit it, had a bit of a tank slapper but managed to save it. Told the marshalls about the oil. They closed the track dried up the oil, then off out again. As I came round lodge I crossed the line of dried up oil mix and the back end wiped out, managed to salvage it but spun onto the grass. Arse twitching moment to say the least It started raining at lunch just as Steve arrived, we headed out on track in the wet, then the monsoon started, cars going off left right and centre. I could not see a fucking thing, I felt like a blind man reading a book. So after a few laps Steve asked to be returned to the pits. Just as they red flagged it. So in we came. I was about to pack up and the skies cleared, sun put his hat on and the track dried out completely. So off out again. Put some really good laps in albeit held up every lap slightly. I had the data logger on and even with traffic slowing me up I was running 1.59 with theoretical best lap time with best sectors of 1.57 with traffic so was pleased with the day. Mighth even get the slicks on next time. See you there guys on the 7th aug |

And its nice to advertise my own company on my own nice car, not advertising someone elses for free bits as most do. Something as a boy growing up I would have just dreamt to do Gives me a nice warm sense of acheivment. Dan it was fine underneath bar one tiny bit on the front bumper, a tiny bit of lacquer came off, it was heavily stone chipped and had been painted previously though.
