Oil pressure
Any one know what is normal with standard wet sump at idle and under load? I have numbers but want to know if they are what others are seeing. Only other car I have access to with a sender is running dry sump so assume different anyway?
Ta.

I could test the 'telemetry system' and let you know what my car is showing
Hm, it's possible that the GT1 can display this. I will check and tell you. |

Oil pressure at idle speed with engine at operating temperature - min bar = 0.7
Regulated Pressure = 4.0bar BMW TIS 1141 Measuring done with special tool #90 88 6 114 390 at the oil filter housing (page 10 of the MS54B32 training manual or BMW TIS 11 40 000) I can see this on my autoenginuity tool with the data log function - will have a measure and report back to see what mine is for you a bit later - out to dinner now!
