Default Ferodo DS2500 Part code?

Hi,

Does anyone know the part code for DS2500 to fit AP 6 Pot, which I think is the CP5575

I'm searching the Ferodo site but it assumes standard CSL brake caliper.

Thanks.

I've got some that I just ran about with for a few weeks until some better ones turned up - will measure them to give pad depth but you can have them for £50 if you want. Used to keep them in my toolbox as "get me home" pads but don't have that requirement any more.

Brilliant - thanks guys Nathan that's a great offer thanks, we'll talk via PM.

I wouldn't normally run DS2500 but I'm sick to death of the noise from the Pagids (all the time too, not just under braking). The 2500s are pretty much quiet aren't they.

Elliot - I've always run mine on DS 2500 and never had any squealing. I tried some Pagids on my 996 - did my head in. I'd say that the only downside with the DS2500 is they wear quite quickly on track compared to the Pagid, but considering you don't do tracks anymore, the DS is probably the way to go. Day to day wear is about the same and I actually found the cold bite much better with the DS. I reckon you'll prefer them.

Elliot you big jessy where were you on Friday? Good day spectating at Oulton with lots of nice machinery out on't track. Had a chat with Gareth, it's a shame he's not on Ring/Spa trip as I would've loved a lap with him round the ring so I could see how it should be done

Sorry I actually completely forgot about it, but I had some staff issues at work which would have made it difficult to get over anyway.

Cheers. I did have some DS2500 but it was when the AP kit was fitted back in 2004! So my memory has gone.
I do about 5,000 miles a year (tops) so wear isn't an issue.

Find that strange SOB , im running Pagids all round and they are fine .... until using them ...so I dont !!! Seriously though, I have less soundproofing than most, and they are quiet ... at the moment ! What sort of noise are they making constantly, as in theory they should be sitting in fresh air at rest !

I get constant loud brake squeaking/squeal. Sounds like there's a bunch of mice living under the arch. Almost like the brakes are ON all the time (or at least the drivers side which is the culprit). Can't find the cause... Pistons are operating properly, pads are fairly well worn (about 6mm of pad material left)... but it does go away after I've given them a monstering, just like 'under braking squeal' does. I wondering if the pads were simply vibrating in the caliper but I guess if that was the cause it wouldn't go away after a monstering (?) Anyway I'm so fed up of listening to it and I have no radio to drown it out

So I'm just gonna put some quite pads in to see if it helps.

PS - they're Pagid RS14 at the mo and I've only had this problem within the last six months or so, and I've run Pagids (RS19 previously) since 2004.
