Hi,
They have been doing this for over a year now. Not sure what they have proved with this, only that you can Morph all the E60 M5 Running gear, drive train, suspension, engine and box into a E30 Shell, or whats left of it. I bet you would be quicker in a well sorted E30 M3 92/93 DTM spec Car around the Ring than in the ''Franken E30 M3/M5''. Much more of challenge to make the V10 fit within the existing M3 paramiters and use its running gear etc, just like the V10 E30 M3 on You Tube, built by the Swede. At around 1.30 secs in it shows the engine bay with all the original Strut turrets etc. On e30.de there is a well built E30 M3 with a BMW M5 S62 engine, and a E30 M3 Cab with a V12 in there. www.e30.de scroll down the ''Hinewiese Fotostories'' till you come to-AndiM356ic and Christoph M3 V8 5.0. Some build pain there for sure. Regards, The Gorilla |

I am personally not into such things, but the build quality seems impressive. I would be interested to know how is the handling of the car. With all that weight at the front......
I remember couple of local guys from my neighborhood who put a VR6 engine in Golf GTI MK1. The car was not drivable due to the weight distribution apparently.

I've seen this before, stunning build and the quality is jaw dropping! However, I said the same last time, I can't believe they built a project to this standard and left those shitty black wheels on the car, they are awful!
Some nice deep dish polished 17" splits would be perfect for it!
