Default Help at Spa/Ring 2010

just thought as we have a LOAD of cars going to this we could make sure we have some spares and support identified so that not everybody has to bring the whole garage with them (ROB) and that some of the guys not used to trips can have some peace of mind

I will have as usual;

Shimmy
1. jack
2. toolbox ful of bits for changing rims and pads
3. spare AP front and rear pads
4. spare oil
5. jerry cans maybe
6. performance box (if soembody whats it for the RIng!) or to borrow at Spa for a session
7. gaffer tape and cable ties
8. hand moisturiser (Rob again!)
9. probabaly a spare rim with tyre.
10. old coipacks
11. SMG salmon relay

Alexk
1. Jack + tools
2. BMW GT1 diagnostic (in case we have an engine light etc, we can fix it )
3. Chocolate from Switzerland
4. Performance friction race pads (front ones) for AP racing calipers
5. 2 litres of Castrol TWS oil
6. 1 litre of Castrol SRF brake fluid
8. spare fuel filter

DuncanR
1. Video Vbox Lite with 2 cams, easy to set up, bring your own 4gb SD card.
2. Laptop to download data/video from the above if ppl fill their card up !!
3. Spare front pads for AP callipers

Seems there is a considerable £££ difference between 18" rubber and 19" rubber. Genuine M3 18' can be had for peanuts and 18" R888 for around £600 as oppose to £1200 ish for 19" R888. Cups about the same in 19" CSL sizes.
