Worn/Faded brake feel after trackday
Hi guys,
Just back from the trackday at bedford on monday, and the car's brakes feel alot less "fresh" than before (no more instant bite), have not returned to the previous sharp feeling; alot more pedal travel, more mushy and just less braking in general... (this is btw on stock OEM discs and pads) I fear I might have overbraked on monday and maybe not given them enough cooling between runs. (didnt do a cooling lap, not sure if I should have?) Anyway, im thinking that there's hopefully no mechanical damage to the rotors or anything and I would just have to bleed the fluid out completely and fill it back up with new stuff. What do you think? |

dot 5.1 or better
Simpsons will do it agian if you get yoru brakes uprated you need to do at least half a lap cool down without braking maybe even more at Bedford as the brakes do cook. I tend to come off the brakes after i hit the big back straight and coast all the way back to the pits |

hmmm, will keep that in mind at the next trackday!
Simpson's is abit far just for a fluid change dont you think? Or did you mean they do it for free after a BBK upgrade? Did not quite get what you meant there! Thanks for you help |
