Default Knockhill Sat 19th Sept

Travelled the 100 miles down south from Aberdeen to Knockhill today to go check out the famous Scottish Race track.

Once there i put my coat and hat on as it was nippy to say the least. The paddock was surprisingly empty.

The hire car Slag was itching to get on track....

I went and watched some track action and soon saw Derek....

Once he had parked up i went over and said hello. The weather started to get a bit Scottish and wet... which was a shame as Derek was on new front Cups

We went for a cuppa and waited for the weather to pass which it finally did.

Derek went out on track and after a while came in an offered me a passenger ride which i gladly accepted.

I really liked the track and hope to drive it one day. It has up's and downs, blind corners etc. You defo need a good grippy set up to get the best out of it.

It was obvious that Derek had driven round there a few time by the way he pushed the car to find where the grip was in the slippery conditions.

All in all a good day and worth the 200 mile round trip. Good to meet you Derek and hope to catch up again soon.

A few more photo's.

I was on Holiday last week so couldn't make it up unfortunately.

Looks like it was a nice enough day though, Knockhill has it's own weather system.

Were you working out of Aberdeen Bealo? Bit of a Change from the GOM.
