Default Throttle response ??

Well, I’ve owned the car now for a good few weeks and can safely say I’m loving every minute of it, wet roundabouts however have ruined several pairs of underpants.

Anyway, have had a couple of issues with lights coming on but they have all been sorted under warranty (thank god, I’ll be taking a further 12 months out when it expires in Sept), BMW have changed lambda sensors, paddle shift micro switch and the throttle position motor on the engine (I think thats what they said)……however, when in sport mode the throttle response is not as sharp as before, there is a small delay from depressing the pedal to the engine gaining revs (previously it was instantaneous).

So my question is should there be a slight delay or should it be direct/instant (in sport mode) ??

Cheers.
