Default Black CSL at Menzies 19/03/09

Spotted at Menzies today, as above with hooge Stoptech Brakes, some kind of Aftermarket suspension, carbon bits on the inside and out, CSL badge in the wrong place!

I'd heard a CSL had been in getting repaired so I'm guessing this was her. Looked cracking, had that film that Mark has on his. Protection that goes over the regular stone chipped areas.

Lovely looking car BTW. LAst couple of letters included an N, a Z and something else!

Scott, she was a cracker. Put mine to shame so had to park, REALLY far away from yours. Mine was minging, but got a good going over the following weekend. Made me feel guilty.

What suspension is on it? I noticed she was sitting well low and noticed the shiny struts!

Loving all the wee CF bits inside the car too, (Yeh, me and my mate did have a good nosey about, how you don't mind) You should nip up to Knockhill sometime, even just for a look at to meet a couple of us.

Its got kw's fitted, fitted them during the winter and that was the first time it's been out of the garage since fitting them. After collecting it i took it a run round lochearnhead and was very impressed with them, bought them from thorney and he gave me fast road/track settings for them which work well so far, although i may need to raise the front slightly since it has settled.

I've got mine so low that progrip had problems getting it set to thorneys recommended settings so set it as close as possible, probably going to raise the front and back then get geo done again.Had a bilstein pss9 on it before the kw's, i wouldn't take a bilstein kit again if it was free.

Ha Ha, that was mine. I do like Allan but he does have a terrible memory and tends to make up the details he has forgotten along the way. He was right about running out of talent, if nothing else, but given the circumstances I forgive myself that.
By the way, John at pro grip says your car it far too low and he had to compromise your set up because of that.
It's good to talk, no.
Small world in a CSL.

I've been tempted on the looks front myself, but keeping it stock. That and I wouldn't get it out the driveway.
