Hi all.
Hi all,
New member here (well, new poster as joined back in 2013 when I was looking for a CSL, but ended up with an F10 M5 instead as life changed and I needed a daily driver). Back to not needing a daily again, but am not comfortable with the current value of CSLs given I want a car to drive properly and track etc, so have bought a lovely E46 M3 which is a sort of CSL-alikey! 'Is it a CSL?' is the most common question I have been asked since buying it, even though it's in a non-CSL colour and has a regular roof and bumper. Am well and truly loving it though (especially the manual box...) and am looking forward to a few more track days next year. The main reason for the post, aside from saying hi, is to ask what coilovers people recommend for fast road/occasional track use? KW V3s seem popular, but has anyone tried these against Ohlins R&T? Few pics of the car on my insta if anyone fancies a look www.instagram.com/notacsl Last edited by Galahad; 21-09-2020 at 04:37 PM. |

If you are venturing out on track, you will need to keep an eye on your callipers as once you start to pick up speed and start putting more heat into them the seals melt and the ceramic pistons crack.....
