Maybe time sell the CSL - What could be next?
As much I as I enjoy my CSL and miss driving it whenever I’m away, I have managed to set apart a good amount for a potential upgrade. While going with basically the same ideology of vehicle;
Track orientated, naturally aspirated, rear wheel drive, lightweight version, carbon fibre everything, and investment potential (no depreciation). It’s between the Challenge Stradale and the 430 Scuderia (more so than a GT3). Anyone have experience in each? They cost roughly the same, obviously the CS is the more raw, emotional car and the Scuderia is newer, easier to live with and faster… But if you could only have 1, and it is your only car… PS – Not quite the same style, but similar money, I was also looking at Testarossa’s (1990) for an old school GT feel or a Merc SLS for a modern GT feel. Thoughts?

As said challenge Stradale without a doubt. A pal has a scuderia and I have a strad (forsale by coincidence) The scuderia is fast but the strad for me is as quick as I want to go on the road. But the sound of the strad Wow just the best Worlds apart from the scud, It also feels a bit more raw. Did I mention The noise!!
It's that good my pal with the scud is after a strad aswell now. |

I'm starting to lose interest in nice cars, it's so much effort to keep them nice if you want to use them regularly and hard to get rid of worries when you are using them. I'm seriously considering putting mine up and swapping t for 3-4 cheaper toys.
The CS and Scuderia are obviously lovely things but I think in my current state of mind I'd enjoy them even less!

You'd have to be brave to buy a CS at today's prices and actually drive it. It's value would take a $hit if you put even meager miles on it, they are that type of car now.
GT3 RS would be a better bet and less mileage sensitive. |

Nice choice!
I would love an Aston Martin V12 Vantage, but it would be hard to see the CSL go...
