I really like the look of it, the one thing that I'm not sure about is the gearbox. I have read so many things about how bad the SMG gearbox is, but I think it is fine in the CSL, it suits the character of the car IMO. However I have read that the changes made to the gearbox control software for the CSL make the gearbox much more usable, so I wonder what it is like with the M3 software. Anybody on here tried one in 'normal' driving?
I would also want the car to be more original than that one, but I guess the mods are pretty minor. If I had more space/time/money I would like to have one in my collection, but for me it is a little too similar to the M3 CSL to consider having both. MC |

Probably tend to agree the SMG does suit the aggressive nature of the CSL.
But the M3 I drove once before seemed snatchy and wasn't great to drive . |

Can't stop myself. I would also want it to come with the launch 18 inch wheels. A much better drive than on those nasty 19 inch options. At least it's not running on those cs wheels that ape that glorified bin part extra csl. |

My old M3 had SMG. Was all good.
Colour not to my taste but great car, great value.
