Ha ha, I wouldn't say it has topped out, just that he was being a little over ambitious. I haven't seen one sell for £30k in the last few months. It seems the 'norm' has gone from 70k miles and 30k to 70k miles and £33-35k.

IMHO that particular car doesn't reflect the whole CSL market. NJ is a car dealer and had to try his luck with the unique £80K price tag first as that's his job... plus it's easier to reduce the asking price rather then suddenly increase it although interestingly this does somewhat illustrate NJs profit margins

NJ is flying a kite - even at £70k he's being very ambitious, he's trying to shape the market rather than sell at current market prices. He sold the same car some 15 months ago for low 50s, and whilst the market generally has moved North in the past year ( and rightly so as CSLs have been undervalued ) I personally see this car as having a value around mid to high 50s right now.

No doubt the car will be on SOR so it doesn't really Impact NJ if it doesn't sell provided he's making a turn on his other stock.
