Default Elms Boot Floor Repair

Whats your thoughts on this boot floor repair from Elms? This was replaced less than two years ago and the car has covered just over 2,000 miles since then.

Its in with another dealer getting this fixed. I have reached out to Elms to get their comments, I will let you know what they say.

Looks like swarf left in the damp causing surface rust.

You can see rust starting to come thought the sealer here.

What a fcuking mess! I would not be happy with that at all. I would be expecting Elms to pay, in full, to get that sorted. Shocking.

This is why I would not want my whole boot floor removed and replaced with an identical panel that will again crack.
Plates and injection is the only safe way glad both my m3 were not cracked and when they do I will plate and foam them both.

Coming from the Lotus world as I do, I'd recommend this.

That's totally appalling & way below expected standards Just out of interest was it Elms Stanstead or Elms Bedford who made this awful mess ?
