Default Ideas please.....

I plan on purchasing another set of wheels before I / we get the cups. The obvious choice would be to get another set of standard CSL wheels but I'm looking for something different.

My problem is I still want to maintain the low weight factor as these will be for track days only as opposed to "show and shine". So if you were in the market for wheels again what would you go for? Pictures or linkeys would be great.

Personally I would prefer to pick them out myself and have something different. However with the weight issue, fitment sizes, offsets etc. I just end up trawling and deciding on nothing.

Maybe I'm better off buying a set of second hand wheels and refurbing and painting them.

Anyway throw some ideas around if you don't mind. If I don't comment on the photos it's not that I don't like them it's that most pictures don't download at work (picturebucket etc) and I will have to wait til I get home to se them.

Thanks in advance.

S&B

Im in the same position too S&B, im looking as we speak. Im looking to buy SecondH BBS ones and recon & repaint really, as New ones I think will be buggered on track so secondH is a good option.

Love the CSL BBS for looks and weight issues, but was thinking CH BBS for track only and cups. What ever comes up cheap and fits my everlasting budget. Not sure... probabily end up with none.

Has anyone ever tried going Japanesse? Theres obviously a huge amount of light weight wheels out there for drifting etc. Compomotives etc.

Don't give out to me straight away I'm just trying to think outside the box!!!

Boys !!

Im on Rays for my track wheels , although liked them so there my road ones too at the mo ... lighter than standard , and the off set means that no spacers needed for widening the track , they fill the arches really well, and handling is sublime , especially with the KWs on.

Will post up picks again , although they are on the New track wheels thread , first pics are on std suspension though , but honestly these are the b***** , tick all the boxes , different, tried and tested on skylines on track , lighter and stronger than std , wider track for better handling .....

Only downside is yes , they are a little on the £££££ side , but you only get what you pay for , and its a CSL after all .... so glad i went down the rays route ..

Prefer the Gold 1s Daz. Not a fan of the silver Rays. Whos is the SG 1. Nice.

Yeah thats why I went with those ... the CF front bumper is on John's , although its so much cheaper than Std , that if I need to ever replace the whole thing I will go that route as its over half the cost ... there will be a full front and rear CF bumper on my race car tho.
