Default Tyre pressure

Hi all,
Has anyone any advice on tyre pressures for a CSL with Michelin Pilot Super sports fitted?

I always stick to the manufacturers pressures but with the CSL the pressure listed inside the door is for Cup tyres, which as we all know are a stickier compound.

So I'm not sure if I should use the standard M3 pressures instead, which are lower on the front.

Has anyone contacted BMW about this in the past?

cheers

On the 19" wheel 34psi front 36psi rear should be all right, that's what I have with no issues. But I could be wrong - shimmy will no doubt be along to correct me.

They are not ... The figures on CSLs driver side 'B' post are for regular road tyres (Super Sport included) and even though Michelin recommend running your CUPs on public roads to the same pressures as regular tyres, I personally have run my CUPS on the public road @ 30 psi cold.
For Track work Michelin recommend setting CUP pressures to 26 psi / 1.8 bar (cold) for optimum grip performance & wear.
Have a good read here.

On the road. Even though Goodyear eagle f1 I have them at 32 cold to run at 34 hot, produces even wear on my set up.
