Default Car cleaning sprays

Can anyone recommend a spray that all these detailing/supermarket chaps spray on before they use the pressure jet. Does it still work if a pressure jet is not available?

I'm assuming you mean snow foam?

Plenty out there, some that work with attachment to normal hosepipe

I have an attachment for the Karcher, works really well as a first wash, jet wash off then wash normally.

Not this one, but very similar.
