Intrax Rear Dampers... Which Way Up?!

This might seem like a stupid question but which way round are the Intrax 1K2's supposed to go on the rear? I presume the adjustment knob is meant to be at the bottom but can someone confirm.

The adjustment knob is at the top, then attaches to the top mount.

I think you can download it off Intrax's site.

I had a look on Intrax's website but the only download for those shocks doesn't explain which way round it should go.

I spoke to Simpson's motorsport earlier who originally fitted the dampers and they said they should be fitted with the adjustment knob at the bottom.

hmmm... I think i'll get in touch with Intrax and see what they say. Thanks though.

I run mine inverted, so shock body at the top, adjuster at the bottom.

Means less unsprung weight and you can get to the adjuster!

Don't see any reason why they cannot be fitted either way round but inverted makes most sense.

Ok cheers guys, does it not make any difference to the performance of the damper using it upside down though?
