Default Wheel speed sensor

How easy to fit if you are at a trAckday?

Easy mate.

Front. Wheel off. Undo sensor. Wiggle out. Follow wire up to connector plug behind plastic cover. Undo., refit in reverse order.

Rear. Wheel off. Undo sensor, wiggle out. You need to drop the plastic cover under car near jacking point to access plug. Undo. Refit,

Making sure you refit wire in clips afterwards.

Is it best to carry two or are they the same part?

Do faults have to be cleared for it to work properly?

It needs a software reset, as the new sensor needs to be asigned to the ECU.

driving off will reset it

Wheel speed sensors are not assigned. They are just plug and play

When my light came on on mine (after the power dropped below a specific voltage), it needed reassigning even though it wasn't changed. It just refused to recognise it until this was done.
