Evening chaps, some advice required.
Hey guys,
Im new here. I don't have a CSL just a standard M3. I am looking to start tracking the car and slowl make it more focused. I have been lurking around here for the last 6 months or so, and finally decided to join today. There is such a wealth of info on here. Hope to take part in some way. So I have been looking at some decent suspension in order to improve the handling. Something like KW v3/clubsport, Nitron, Intrax.... There is a current for sale thread for a set of 1k2's over on M3cutters which do look a bit worse for wear. They look like they might need a refurb/service from Simpsons. However I tried calling them to get a price but couldn't get through today. I have asked the seller if they are running 100/50 springs but he said he does not know. http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=85155 Are they worth buying at the right price? What would that price be? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. regards |

Hi Schmeel,
Hello welcome aboard and then the coilovers...... ask him if the legs are aluminium - steel is better shall we say? Intrax coilovers need to be sent to intrax in holland to be serviced aswell after servicing these will be the same price as buying new....

Oh dear, I was under the impression that Simpson serviced in house. Ok thanks for the heads up. I guess I will pass on these. The search continues..... |

They don't look like they are worth that money to me, they might even need new bodies.
