Friendly advice.
Remove the video from youtube asap unless you feel ok paying huge fines and possibly doing some jail time. |

Maybe remove any reference to country, inc on this thread ?
Those roads look just like ones I drove in Kyrgyzstan a couple of years ago.... Last edited by 0836whimper; 31-05-2013 at 05:06 PM. |

Well,
There is a department in CH that deals with online videos. They will calculate the speeds you have by seeing the time you need to cover a specific distance. The routes are well known and you could never argue/object that is not in CH. And believe me they will find who is on the video. Recently they got a biker from Geneva that shoot an extreme video 6 years ago and a friend put his video on youtube on 1st of April, 6 years later. The guy will do 18 months in jail. Just to put things in perspective. I have to pay ~800 CHF fine because I hit a neighbors car in our private space / parking, while reversing. That's because I was not able to control my car and hit the other guys bumper. I was lucky not to have the license taken for 3 months... You could always take your chances. I thought to give the same advice I would give to a friend of mine. Ps : an 80 yo lady hit a car with her bike. The police gave her a mega fine for not being able to handle the bike properly... Now post high speed videos of a CSL in the alps where the limit is 50 or 80... |
