People who have upgraded their stereos
Is the connection a round plug or a flat plug and does it have a speed pulse sensor?
Ta!

The ISO wiring harness - I'm being told that BMW did two sorts, a round pin and a flat pin one. I "think" it is the round pin one, but just want to be sure .

It is the round pin, like you see in this photo The difference between the two generations (I recall the change occurred in 2002) is the plug for the antena. The CSL (also the one you see in the photo) has the new antenna plug which is plastic and smaller. The 1st generation had the old style antenna plug. I have swapped in the past the antenna plug (you can unscrew them and swap them). The firmware is different too. |
