Tracker alert on CSL LA04 **C
Taken from Weejimmy on 'another' forum.
I just got a tracker alert regarding movement of my old CSL that I PX'ed at Coopers Reading in April. As the new owner has never registered with Tracker they aren't going to do anything about it... Figured I would post on here just in case anyone knows who bought the car. It's an SG reg Jul 04 and had 33k or so on it when I sold it to Coopers and was totally stock. I hope someone knows who's owns it as I know from experience that the tracker on it works reliably. I cant decide who is the bigger idiot. Tracker for refusing to help, or the current owner for not registering with them. I just hope the car survives as I cherished it for the 3+ years I had it... |

Is a tracker really worth having. I have one but it makes little difference to my insurance (£40) and cost three times that to each year....my friend had an M3 stolen and the tracker found it. It had been trashed inside and out. The insurance company put it right and he had the car back....but he didn't want it back after seeing the state of it and never felt the same about the car again so sold it and didn't get market value because it had been trashed. If the car had not had a tracker then he would have had a new car from the insurance...........The insurance company told him this.
Supose there are pros and cons.... |
