Default Changing seats - Sacrilege?

Just bought a pair of recaro touring car style seats for the race car, but considering using them in the CSL to reduce the wear on the orginals and for a bit of extra comfort, and for the harness loops for the trip.

However, is it sacrilege to change the inteior on a cesil. Kinda feels like it would be a bit wrong to change anything and to "muck around' with it.

Thoughts?

I put a bucket seat in mine.
Just be sure and keep the original ones.

Have you got a picture of yours in situ?

think these may look slightly out of place, butits more about having the harnesses in properly and being safe and comfortable.

they do look a bit aggressive and may not work with seatbelts due to the high sides

i have a Recaro Profi SPG XL on drivers side and love it

not sure I would use those on a road car, "eared" seats, reduced visibility and no longer allowed on tourist days at the ring

profi spg's are awesome,

They are primarily for the race car so needed head protection. I have the schroth quick release harnesses in the csl so no worry about seat belts. But if they aren't allowed at the ring that's made the decision for me

Think I asked this question before but I cant quite remember, Shimmy you are pretty tall. With the Profi SPG does the seat sit any lower or indeed does it sit a little higher ???

My standard seat is in its lowest position and whilst it is fine I would like to sit a little lower...

I had profi spgxl Without runner first and it was very very low (even I looked short in the car)

Now with runner it is still lower than OeM seats.
