Poss cracked rim
Hi all...Recently had air leaking out of one of my fronts very slowly had the tyre off and resealed last weekend noticed today whilst putting cups on for a td this sat they have dropped from 35 to 30. Im going to spray some soapy water when i get a chance but just wondering if this could be a cracked rim.

do you fit new valves each time you swap rims? could be a faulty valve? it'd be unlikely the rim would crack with out having a visible buckle somewhere you'd hope!?

Yep, I vote for a faulty valve Even new ones can spring a leak. A cracked in the rim would deflate your tyre completely unless it's a tiny-tiny hair line crack.

Not heard of a CSL rim cracking but there's a first for everything. Think it was BM's 19" rims that crack as regular as night follows day and their MV's crack more often than err day follows err night.

Yeah valve was changed just a bit weary if it chucks it down on saturday i dont fancy putting that wheel on as that set is more wet weather forgiving.
Fook it its not the first time ive been on cups in the wet |
