Don't know it, but it's pretty high mileage for £20K, even if it's only two owners. There are a number of much lower mileage cars around for not much more.

I agree. I think he's dreaming if he thinks he'll achieve that.

Whats also concerned me is him denying he's ever done track days. It doesnt bother me if he has thats what they are designed for, but why lie. The brakes, nurburgring stickers and paddles all point to someone who likes a track day or 2, but why not just say?

I'd be suprised if it sells for less than 20k, miles or no.
BMW warranty (& therefore full history), subframe done, front end respray & wheel refurb & full options - thats 20k all day long.

I think that will sell for 18k or so. Particularly this winter.

Well, I've tried to contact the seller to arrange an inspection including bore scope and leak down test but surprise surprise all of a sudden no response. The search continues, time to up the budget me thinks

Are you accusing someone of lying before you have even spoken to him?

standard brakes are pants so why not upgrade? if it had coilovers too then I would be more suspect personally..... give the man a chance.

Since when does high milage (a relative term in itself) represent anything meaningful about a car ?
It's all about actual condition of said car and a full, on schedule, up to date service history.
