Front springs sat correctly?
While removing my skirts yesterday I noticed the below on the front O/S Strut...
Looking at the N/S after and it's similar. Never had front suspension work before (in 5 years) and had the wheels off hundreds of time before, why have I not noticed this before? Do they need to be turned or are they sat ok? Warranty job as I'll have to remove the strut? |

Is the end of the spring against anything? If not you would want to get it twisted over to the slot. That will also lower it maybe 10mm i guess.

Jesus Baz, there is 30 seconds at the ring right there
Yes just twist the spring round until it is seated, see how the top is too if you can. |

Car on axle stands,
Remove front wheels, Jack the front wishbone up to take pressure of spring, (simulating car sat on ground on wheels) Undo top mount nut then slowly lower jack, when enough pressure is released from the spring you can then twist it, Then slowly jack up making sure spring seats correctly. Fit and tighten top mount nut. If you were close to me it would take 10 mins per side. Workshop procedure is strut off, but it can be done in situ. |

I would just do it myself, it's piss easy. And I see you have access to equipment. |
