If my clutch has started slipping very slightly, not alway, on the upshift, how long has it got left, and also how much is it to do a clutch.
It has only done 20k miles and is under BMW warranty but apparantely the clutch is not covered. Any help appreciated |

just a quick follow up but after an independant dealer said i needed a new clutch it has just come out of BMW with the issue fixed.
Apparantely it was a software issue with the SMG box. It had calibrated itself into race mode or something :-/. If i hadnt gone for the second opinion i would have ended up forking out for a new clutch!!! Also, i cannot beleive a software issue is not covered by the BMW warranty. Anyway, Shimmy, cheers for your advice |
